GHD-Repaired Warranty

We do not have any affiliation/relation with Jemella® Limited (trading as GHD) and any warranty offered by us, has nothing to do with GHD manufacturer and if you believe you still have a valid guarantee with them,  you must contact GHD directly.

Our GHD-Repaired regularly last an average of 2 years and we even have some of them lasted 4 years. But how long it lasts will depend on too many factors, including a unstable Mains, using generators ‘kill electronics’ – caravan places where Mains is unstable or heavy users too, dropping it while hot, loose wires or old mains sockets. The shortest we have seen was 6 months – maybe 2 or 3, but they were either used almost every day or/and they where used by more than one person or a Hairdresser’s shop!

Warranty for Refurbished GHD is 3 Months (to the day) – this is not an insurance

What is included in our Refurbished Warranty ?

All electrical/electronics faults

What is not included in our Refurbished Warranty ?

    1. All ‘non electrical/electronics faults – i.e. body, covers, plates or anything else that makes the structure and is not electrical/electronics
    2. Any electrical faults/component, if we find GHD was tampered with – attempted repair etc. by any unauthorised person/s but MSelectrical.co.uk 
      We would ‘certainly’ know if it was tampered with – we have experience of GHD repaired and tested since 2009, this also includes ‘improper’ use, such as using in on unstable mains or generator (avoid!) or connected to a much higher voltage than 250v.
    3. Mains Plug damaged or/and mains cable has cuts, burns and generally damaged by usage.
      If you return it with a ‘electrical/electronics’ fault, but with mains plug or/and the mains cable cut/damaged, we must carry out a replacement or if possible a fix on mains cable or/and plug, following current Health and safety Laws. We cannot hand it back to you in this case, if it is not electrically safe – do not ask, please.
      This service will be charged extra – we always inform our customers along the way, if you left an email address, so our Technician can contact you about your GHD repair.

What is included in our Repair Warranty ?

All electrical/electronics parts that were replaced by GHD-Repaired.co.uk (i.e. MS Electrical)

 

What is not included in our GHD-Repaired Warranty ?

  1. All ‘non electrical/electronics faults – i.e. body, covers, plates or anything else that makes the structure and is not electrical/electronics
  2. Any electrical faults/component, if we find GHD was tampered with – attempted repair etc. by any unauthorised person/s but MSelectrical.co.uk

    Any replaced part that fails again, but it has been caused by another failed part – it does happen
    We always try not to charge you, but sometime we have to, when it is in no way caused by our repair intervention
